Today, I announce the appointment of Ms Christina Grant as the new CEO of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority (IPEA).

IPEA is an independent statutory authority that works to ensure the ethical, prudent and cost effective use of public resources. It has advisory, reporting and assurance responsibilities for the work expenses of parliamentarians, and the travel resources of their staff.

Ms Christina Grant brings a wealth of experience from within the public service of both the important functions of IPEA and of the parliamentary workplace.

Ms Grant will be well-suited to maintaining and improving the trust IPEA has garnered from the public and the parliament since its inception.

The Government thanks former IPEA CEO Annwyn Godwin who served with distinction throughout her time as CEO.
