2017-18 Budget

TERRY HANSON: Well we have all learnt a little something Bob and I think that is important with a show like ours. Bianca asked many important Budget questions of the Finance Minister Mathias Cormann and he had no answers.

BIANCA DYE: They were very intense questions.

BOB GALLAGHER: Well, well, well Finance Minister Mathias Cormann thought the Federal Budget covered absolutely everything, but Bianca cut him to the big issues.

BIANCA DYE: What about the frivolous stuff? The coffees, the lattes, the turmeric lattes, the spray tans, my active wear? I mean, are we still going to be able to afford this with this budget, or are we going to have to pinch the purse-strings?

MATHIAS CORMANN: Well, we did not make any specific decisions in the budget about spray tans and lattes I have to say.

BIANCA DYE: Come on Mathias, they are important?

MATHIAS CORMANN: Indeed, but these are the things that I am sure people right across Australia including in Queensland can decide for themselves.

BIANCA DYE: I hope he takes that away for the next budget.
