Child Support customers now have a simpler, more mobile-friendly and secure way to manage their Child Support information online through myGov.

The Child Support online account, used by more than 700,000 customers, has been redesigned with a cleaner and simpler interface in myGov and the myGov app that makes it easier for parents to find and use the services they need.

The updated service has been optimised for mobile phones, providing a better and more convenient experience for customers.

By accessing Child Support through the myGov app, customers can also take advantage of newer security features. Customers can use their Digital ID or passkey to set up the myGov app and then use their device’s biometric features, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, for fast and secure sign-in.

Customers can continue to complete the same common Child Support tasks online, including updating care arrangements and personal details, checking payments, uploading documents, making payments and updating income estimates.

The redesign also moves Child Support services onto a more flexible digital platform that can better support improvements and integration with other services and features in the future.

With the updated Child Support services available through myGov, the Express Plus Child Support app has reached the end of its life and will be retired on 9 October 2026.

Customers will be able to access Child Support alongside their other linked government services through one secure myGov account, reducing the need for separate government apps.

Child Support customers who currently use the Express Plus Child Support app are encouraged to move to the myGov app before 9 October.
