Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann

The Government has appointed Mr Mario D’Orazio as a non-executive Director of the Board of Australia Post for a three year term.  

Mr D’Orazio has extensive executive and Board experience in the corporate, philanthropic and not-for-profit sectors. Mr D'Orazio has been the Managing Director of Channel 7 Perth, and a non-executive Director of Perth Stadium Management and health start-up company HealthEngine.  

He is currently Chairman of the Perth Public Art Foundation and Contemporary Dance Company of Western Australia, Board Member of the WA Academy of Performing Arts (Edith Cowan University), Director of the WA Opera and Australian Institute of Management WA, and Trustee of Telethon Trust. 

Mr D’Orazio has strong experience in managing digital transformation and is well-placed to support Australia Post as it continues to adapt to changes in its operating environment.
