New Government major office machines panel

Senator the Hon. Mathias Cormann
Minister for Finance
Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate
Senator for Western Australia

Date

The Government has appointed a new Major Office Machines (MOMs) panel to provide more competitive purchase, lease and maintenance costs.  This will deliver substantial savings for all Government departments and agencies.

The panel has been appointed for the next four years, with an option to extend for a further two years.

The new panel replaces the current Equipment and Support and Managed Print Services Panels, and will supply network printers, multifunction devices (MFDs), scanners and support services.

The new panel will also offer more streamlined contract management as it will be under the same ICT Deliverables Head Agreement as the Data Centre Facilities Supplies Panel and the ICT Hardware and Associated Services Panel.

The new MOMs Panel will also have the ability to adapt to the Government’s changing MOMs requirements.

The panel consists of four providers, including:

  • Fuji Xerox Australia Pty Limited
  • Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia Pty Ltd
  • Kyocera Document Solutions Australia Pty Ltd
  • Ricoh Australia Pty Ltd

The new panel begins today.
