Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann

The Government has appointed Ms Loretta Reynolds to the Board of ASC Pty Ltd (ASC) for a three year term. 

Ms Reynolds is currently the Chair of corporate law firm Thomson Geer and has served on the boards of a diverse range of organisations including the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute and the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. 

Ms Reynolds will provide a valuable contribution drawing on her extensive legal and executive experience as ASC implements the long term arrangements to ensure the future success of the Air Warfare Destroyer project. 

ASC has responsibility for the delivery of the Royal Australian Navy’s three new Air Warfare Destroyers and the repair, maintenance and design upgrades for the Navy’s fleet of six Collins Class submarines.
