Labor Party Won't Stand up for Western Australia
Senator the Hon. Mathias Cormann
Minister for Finance
The Labor Party have proved once again that they do not support the economic growth of Western Australia.
Asked today whether he would support calls from Western Australian businesses to repeal the mining tax, Bill Shorten said that he would vote against the repeal of the mining tax.
The mining tax is an anti-West Australian tax. The Government is committed to scrapping it as soon as possible.
The repeal of the mining tax is being debated in the Senate this week.
The Labor Party has the opportunity to prove they support Western Australian businesses and vote to scrap the mining tax now.
